Emotional Intellegance

Interpersonal intelligence is the ability to understand other people: what motivates them, how they work, how to work cooperatively with them.

Intrapersonal intelligence ... is a correlative ability, turned inward. It is a capacity to form an accurate, veridical model of oneself and to be able to use that model to operate effectively in life.

The interesting thing is that every day I'm simulating a graph from models and matching it with my raw data of experiments, and then understanding the structure of my material. Now, I never thought of giving myself models and simulating a model that matches me...

Emotional intelligence ...is a type of social intelligence that involves the ability to monitor one's own and others' emotions, to discriminate among them, and to use the information to guide one's thinking and actions.

For social person, life is composed of relationship with others...how one is treated socially can effect their moods and feelings... There are Five categories that should be practiced in order to understand ourselves and our society better:

    • Self-awareness:

Observing yourself and recognizing a feeling as it happens.

    • Managing emotions:

Handling feelings so that they are appropriate; realizing what is behind a feeling; finding ways to handle fears and anxieties, anger, and sadness.

    • Motivating oneself:

Channeling emotions in the service of a goal; emotional self control; delaying gratification and stifling impulses.

    • Empathy:

Sensitivity to others' feelings and concerns and taking their perspective; appreciating the differences in how people feel about things.

    • Handling relationships:

Managing emotions in others; social competence and social skills.

Spices of Life

What makes life interesting and exciting is how it's unexpected. It's the combination of mixed spices that make you want to linger in every moment of it.

Each spice can be too strong if it's used individually... The balance of the spices makes it delicious...

You are the Chef. You are responsible for the taste of life. You and only you... It's up to you if the taste of one spice seems to stand out more than other...

How to balance? well there is No set rule. Each person has a certain style and a certain taste. Of course your cooking can't please everyone... What is important is that it pleases you. After all you cook for your own satisfaction and well, the appreciation of others is also pleasing...

You can sometimes cook according to others taste but make sure to make something you like for just you at the end of the day too. After all you don't want to starve yourself. You can understand other peoples taste only through experience and sometimes using older recipes.

Enjoy Cooking...

-I did the right thing... now I just have to convince my aching heart and demanding brain!

- Some times we have to do the right thing no matter how hard. It's the intentions that are important.
